2018 HOPE YOUTH SUMMER MISSION:  

Hope & EBENEZER ETHIOPIAN CHURCH V.B.S. Partnership

Hope Lutheran and Ebenezer Ethiopian Evangelical church (LCMS) in Columbus partnered to run Ebenezer's summer V.B.S. 

program the week of June 18th-22nd. The "getting to know you" started with teacher training on Saturday, June 16th,

8:30-10:30 AM, followed by a trip to Hocking Hills at 11:00 AM for a day of kayaking. Then beginning on Monday night,

through Friday night, all hands were on deck, youth and adults, as we were blessed to served almost 60 children through the

ministry at Ebenezer.  We enjoyed hearing God's Word together; planning, teaching and learning together; praying together;

laughing together; sharing great food together; and starting new friendships together.  Many thanks to Pastor Berhanu and

Pastor Meyer for their investment of time into these children and in teaching our adult and youth helpers, and to our youth

ministry assistant, Atalie Bale, for organizing and leading in a fantastic week of fun, service, and faith building activities and

teaching for all who were blessed to partcipate!  God willing, we hope to be serving together often in the future.
